Ranelagh Harriers Location Maps

Richmond is situated on the banks of the river Thames, about 15 miles upstream of London. It was the weekend retreat of the Kings and Queens of England, before they developed Hampton Court (further up the Thames) and then Windsor. It still has many Royal associations. Richmond Park, where we do most of our running, was the deer park belonging to the Royal Palace at Richmond. Descendants of deer introduced by King Charles II still roam in the park. To get to this area - south-west of the centre of London - travel from Waterloo station by British rail or take the Underground. Follow the map below once you get to Richmond.
The Ranelagh Harriers clubhouse is at the rear of The Dysart, Petersham Road, Richmond, just at the foot of Star and Garter Hill and opposite the pedestrians-only Petersham Gate into Richmond Park. Buses 65 and 371 from Richmond and Kingston stop outside and Richmond railway and Underground station is a 20-minute walk away.     Note: Absolutely no parking at the clubhouse or the Dysart Pub.
